A Great Recipe from the Interns’ Corner

Here at Zittrauerhof, we employ several interns from agricultural schools, home economics schools, Waldorf schools, and other higher education institutions during the summer months. What pleases me most is when, after the girls go home, they apply what they learned on the farm. Each intern comes to us with specific inclinations and is encouraged accordingly. In any case, it is important to me that everyone who does their internship with us also learns the basic things in the kitchen and develops a love for baking and herbs, even if their school’s main focus is often agriculture. And then it makes me even happier when, after returning home, the girls send me photos of pastries and desserts, cream cheese, yogurt, etc., that they learned to make with us and then made themselves for their families at home. A few days ago, I received a great recipe from Lisa; she has become a fantastic baker and spoils her family with treats. This time, she sent me a new recipe that I would love to share with you.
