Are all products from the farm?

No, but many products come from our own farm and from the region.

A good holiday day at Zittrauerhof begins with a breakfast where you can also taste the closeness to agriculture. Fresh products from our own farm and from our garden bring a piece of real farm life to the breakfast table – right in Bad Hofgastein and surrounded by the Gastein mountains.

Fresh milk from our cows

Our dairy cows have always been part of agricultural life at Zittrauerhof. Fresh milk from our own farm is therefore a completely natural part of our holiday table.

During the summer, our cows spend their time on the high-altitude Zittraueralm on Stubnerkogel. About every two days, the fresh milk is brought down from the Alm to the farm – a real piece of Alm life from the Gastein mountains.

Breakfast eggs from our chickens

Our flock of chickens scratches, pecks, and clucks around the children’s barn – and takes on a particularly nice task: they provide fresh eggs for your breakfast table.

From our own farm and our garden

Many of our products come from our own farm and are made with a lot of love. Fresh herbs, fruit, and vegetables also come partly directly from our garden.

Short distances and a conscious approach to food are part of our everyday farm life. So at breakfast, regional enjoyment naturally combines with life on our farm in Salzburg.
