Animal adventures in the children’s barn
Our Kids’ Barn is a very special meeting place for animal lovers young and old. It all started with a few pigs and two goats. Gradually, rabbits, cats, and ducks, as well as our donkey Rita and mini pony mare Jasmyne, found a home here. Today, the Kids’ Barn is a natural part of farm life and offers our guests the opportunity to get up close with the animals.
Experience Animals – In Any Weather
Whether sunshine or rain – there’s always something to discover in the Kids’ Barn all year round. Children can spend time with the animals, pet the rabbits, observe chickens and ducks, or simply watch the hustle and bustle in the barn. From Monday to Friday, our little guests, accompanied by a parent, can also help with feeding in the afternoon and experience a bit of real farm life.
Especially when the weather isn’t cooperating, the Kids’ Barn is a lovely, sheltered place to linger, play, and explore – right on the farm and very close to our animal residents.
Mail for Our Animals
If you want to give our animals something special, you can write a letter or create a drawing for them in the craft corner. There’s even a special mailbox for this in the Kids’ Barn – and it’s emptied every day by Grandpa personally. This way, mail for Rita, Jasmyne & Co. is guaranteed to reach the right place.
