For many years, in cooperation with schools from home and abroad, we have been offering internships in the fields of agriculture and home economics. On our Zittraueralm, there is also the opportunity to gain practical experience and get to know life and work on a real farm.

Varied, diverse, and right in the middle of farm life

An internship at Zittrauerhof is varied, educational, and sometimes strenuous. But that’s exactly what makes this time so valuable. In our family atmosphere, you become part of farm life and gain comprehensive insight into the different areas of our operation.

Depending on the season and area of deployment, the following tasks are included:

Working in the stable and caring for our animals
Working in the fields and garden
Household support
Assisting with guest care
Working on our Zittraueralm

Anyone who enjoys getting stuck in, taking responsibility, and is open to new things can gain a lot of practical experience with us and learn a lot for life.

Accommodation and Board

Depending on the area of deployment and availability, we provide accommodation in the staff cottage or in a guest room.

We also ensure your physical well-being. We cook fresh and with pleasure every day, because good food is simply part of our shared farm life.
