Our Farm
The Zittrauerhof has been owned by our family since the 16th century. Today, in our approximately 400-year-old farmhouse, we combine rural tradition with a modern, lively daily farm routine. Agriculture, animals, alpine pasture farming, and working together with nature are all a natural part of our lives.

Children’s Paradise
A farm holiday is a great adventure for children, too. Animal encounters await in the children’s stable, while outside, a playground, trampoline, children’s zip line, go-karts, tractors, and the mud track provide variety. And if anyone wants to leave a message for our animals, they can even write them a letter.

The Zittrauerhof is located in the heart of the Gastein Valley between Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein. In summer, hiking trails, alpine pastures, and numerous nature experiences await; in winter, the snowy mountain world and the region’s diverse winter sports offerings. And after an active day, Gastein’s famous thermal spas provide soothing relaxation.
Our Zittraueralm
High above the valley at 1,872 meters above sea level lies our rustic Zittraueralm on the Stubnerkogel. In summer, cows, young cattle, horses, and goats spend their time there in the fresh mountain air. Hikers can look forward to a cozy stop with magnificent views, cool drinks, regional products, snacks, and homemade delicacies like Pofesen and Apfelradl.
