Apricot dumplings at their finest

This time there is a simple recipe for curd lovers and apricot fans. My friends Maria and Herbert brought me fresh apricots and curd dumplings are simply always the right way to use them. Wonderful! In addition to the recipe already posted, this blog post is even easier to follow – curd, flour and apricots. Good luck and enjoy your meal!

Ingredients:

250 g curd, 100 g flour. Apricots. This makes about 9 small dumplings. For coating: breadcrumbs, butter, hazelnuts, sugar, cinnamon.

Preparation:

Mix the curd and flour well, adding a little salt if needed. Wrap the apricots in the dough and place them on a plate. Next, let the dumplings simmer in boiling water for about 20 min—add a little salt to the water too. Then, take the dumplings out and roll them in the breadcrumb, butter, nut, and sugar mixture. Done! No waiting around for the dough to rise. Thank you, Maria, for this wonderful recipe; it has become my absolute favorite for apricot curd dumplings.

Best wishes from Zittrauerhof and have a wonderful time. Katharina Schwaiger.
