Winter Wonderland

After it has snowed repeatedly over the last few days, the weekly farm story simply has to be about nature and the magnificent winter landscape in the Gastein Valley. It is as if you always want to be outside, even when it is stormy or snowing; it is like an addiction to feel nature, to simply look at it.

My friend said to me today that looking out the window is more beautiful than any cinema – so calming and touching. She is right!

I have already seen a lot of the world and used to travel a lot and gladly :-), but the mountains in Gastein fascinate me again and again and it is so beautiful to be at home here.

AND even if things are perhaps a bit “tougher” here, the tone and the air a bit “rougher” than in big cities – a Gasteiner would probably not want to trade with anyone – there’s no place like home!
