Spring feelings…

Who of us doesn’t have spring feelings these days? The days getting longer and longer, the wonderful sunbeams that warm our body and our heart, and the little patches that are already becoming snow-free. Simply beautiful, and it does the soul good.

Even the animals feel that spring is coming soon and, despite the snow still covering the valley, they want to go outside. It’s a joy to watch them move, run, and hop so comfortably on the snowy meadow.

When the weather is so wonderful and the mountains radiate so much strength and freedom, you can see that reflected in the mood of our guests too. Here and there a smile in the morning, and an inner contentment that spreads. For most of us, that’s the loveliest holiday experience: being in the middle of nature, having beautiful weather and being “free”—simply being able to enjoy the day together without pressure, worries and tasks.

This time of year is also a time of births. In the cowshed, a few calves have been born in recent weeks—among them little Greta and Edelweiß!

Soon there will also be new arrivals in the children’s barn—the Brillenschaf and the goats are already round as can be—the children are already taking them for walks, because pregnancy exercise does the animals good too.
