For our little guests

Farm holidays – naturally, that’s also something for the adults among us, because who doesn’t love sleeping in a cozy farmhouse, waking up to a view of cows and fields, or enjoying the presence of animals?!

But above all, for our little guests, a farm holiday is a very special experience. Many children have never seen a real farm before, let alone touched a calf. How often do children’s eyes sparkle when they are with the animals, touching and caressing them.

However, a family-friendly farm is not only characterized by families being allowed to stay there for their holidays. It is always a challenge for the farm owners to gather new ideas, incorporate experiences, and improve things.

A special highlight on our farm is the children’s barn. I have written about it often, and diligent readers already know what there is to see there. Whether it’s rabbits to pet, Molly the spectacled sheep for walks, or our mini pigs, there’s something for everyone. And for children who prefer to play, there’s plenty too. So, if you like to drive excavators in the sand or want to observe the surroundings while swinging, you are very welcome in our builder’s play street or on the playground!

And then there’s more news from our farm! And ta-daaaaa…. here it is since July 2016: our children’s zip line slide!

The children particularly enjoy helping to bring in the animals on weekdays and are allowed to help with feeding in the afternoons. The watering can race is also great fun for children in midsummer – whether big or small. More info at www.gasteinurlaub.com
