Heilstollen in Gastein
This healing adit therapy is a combination of mild hypothermia treatment and radon therapy in alpine altitude. It takes place in five therapy stations with increasing heat (37,5°C to 41,5°C) and increasing humidity (70 to 100%).
With chronic diseases of the musculoskeleton like Morbus Bechterew, rheumatoid arthritis or fibromyalgia remarkable pain-relieving effects were detected. Those relieving effects remain for months and the reduction in the need of medication for one year was proven.
