Children´s Paradise Zittrauerhof

Hello, we live on the farm Zittrauerhof and like it ! 

We are living on the big farm and can play outside everyday. We are also already helping with the works on the farm. Do you know what? There is a lot to discover with us...

The children´s stable

Straight after your arrival the adventure begins as the first way leads us to the newly built children´s stable. In the stable are our small animals with their offspring. Rabbits, cats, pigs, goats, ponies and also our farmhouse dog “Asta” can be touched and petted there. During the day all kids are welcomed to visit their favourite pet.
In the big stables where the cows and horses are there is a lot to see too. You can watch the farmer while feeding the cows and calves and aso while milking the cows twice a day.

The children´s playground

On our spacious playground all children can run riot in either the sandbox, the playhouse, the cowbell slide or the boats swing. Tractors, go-carts and scooters that are available are very popular for racing. There is also a trampoline, a table tennis and bicycles which can be rented. A small lounge and a lawn where you can lie down is a nice meeting point for parents to watch their children playing.

Children –there is a lot to do!

The newly constructed Bob-the-Builder Playing-Street has become a real hit for all the kids in summer. The kids are also welcomed to help the farmer on his daily works with feeding or leading the cows.

Riding ponies

in summer high season: Once a week pony KRIA is taken out of her stable and she will be brushed and curried. Sparkling clean, she is ready for the big meadow where every child can take a ride on her. Of course we also show the correct handling of horses.

Children´s cooking in summer

Once a week all kids on the farm turn into little real chefs. Equipped with aprons and cooking hats (will be provided) Catherine shows how to cook.  On the children´s request we can make dumplings, pancakes, the Austrian Brettljause (snack) or sausages from the camp fire. While cooking we are singing children´s songs and play funny games so that all kids get to know each other. At the end the selfmade meal will be eaten with big appetite.

Riding ponies and children´s cooking will be offered only in summer as most of our guests are on the slopes in winter.
