Welcome to Holiday Farm “Zittrauerhof” www.gasteinurlaub.com   Enjoy your well deserved vacation immersed in the mountains of the Gastein valley, in the comfortable Zittrauerhof Holiday Farm **** .  The house was built 400 years ago, and has been restored with care and love. It offers really typical and cosy rooms for you and your friends as well one family double room – ideally for families with little children.

If you prefer, you can relax in our Country House, located near the Farm.

A special offer for our guests breakfast: home-made bread, milk from our cows are included in the price!

You can also taste our various home-made specialties: cheese, jam and marmalade, butter and many others more. If you wish, we can prepare our energetic “Austrian” breakfast, that will be served in our Tyrolese Stube.

Equipment of rooms and of apartments:

Our two-bed rooms, for smokers and non-smokers, are all equipped with bathroom with shower and hair drier, bed and bath towels as well as Sat-TV. Individual rooms at our farm are actually two-bed rooms that we offer for singles. Our family rooms – two spacious communicating rooms – are the ideal solution for families with one or two children. A washing and a drying machine are also available.

 All the apartments are comfortably furnished and were awarded the “4 flowers” certification (for smokers and non-smokers). All are equipped with shower, WC, Sat-TV and hair-drier. It is also possible to separately rent one or more rooms, each with its own bathroom. The kitchen offers an oven, electrical cooking plates, American coffee machine, mixer, and when required also a baby mixer. The price obviously includes bed and bath towels. A special offer for our guests in the apartement: home-made bread, milk from our cows are included in the price!

Location: The farm is located on the sunny side of the valley and can be easily reached. Our Farm is located halfway between Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein.  You need just 6 minutes by car to go to the Bad Hofgastein thermal baths (ALPENTHERME GASTEIN), as well as to the Schlossalm skiing facilities or to the historic centre of the village.

And let’s not forget ski: our valley can boast of 5 great ski-areas where you can go with one ski pass only,  a sledge trail, as well as a very long cross-country skiing track.

Directly from our house you can start out on various relaxing or more challenging walks, and when you need being strengthened up a bit … an Austrian confectioner’s is just near us!  

Sport opportunities: You can spend a relaxing and fortifying day at the “ALPENTHERME” thermal baths in Bad Hofgastein or at  “FELSENBAD” in Bad Gastein. You can ride bikes (the use of bikes for our guests is free of charge) or mountain-bike, start our on mountain walks, play tennis, also indoor, play golf

You can also taste our various home-made specialties: cheese, jam and marmalade, butter and many others more. If you wish, we can prepare our energetic “Austrian” breakfast, that will be served in our Tyrolese Stube. To live in our house allows you to savour the scents of freshly baked farmhouse bread and the milk isn´t pulled from the fridge. You will be amazed at how delicious the cows milk is. This is how a real vacation is supposed to feel. Most of the food is produced, processed and prepared with great care right there on our farm.

Sandpit or table tennis or animals ? No matter. Lot of opportunities for play as far as  the eye can see. Further you can play in the children´s place at our farm.

We are a certified Holiday Farm and offer all the necessary equipment for babies children. We are extremely attentive as to our little guests and we offer: children beds, children seats, kiddie toilet, baby bottle warmer, teddy-bears and a “family room”  bicycles, also for children, deckchair, equipment for babies, sledge, dish-sleds; in summer there is a wide playground with slide, swing with seat, a big sand-box, kid explorer tunnel, and many others, ping pong, basket-ball hoop, animals, both here at the Farm and at the mountain pasture: Asta, the dog, Katja, the pony, pigs, fish, calves and many horses. Animals like visits!
